Carrington West are pleased to be working with a growing engineering organisation looking to appoint a Principal Town Planner with private-sector experience to play a key role in establishing its presence in the region.
This is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth, bringing your planning expertise, commercial awareness and industry relationships to help develop a successful new office.
The Opportunity
As Principal Town Planner, you''ll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the planning function, support the delivery of a range of projects, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
You''ll be joining a business where your experience and input can make a genuine difference, with the potential to help shape the future direction of its new Leeds office.
About You
We''re keen to speak with candidates who have:
·Experience operating at Principal Town Planner level or above.
·A strong background in private-sector planning, ideally within a consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment.
·MUST have a town planning degree or masters
·MRPTI or working towards
·A sound understanding of the UK planning system and development process.
·Experience managing planning projects and working with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
·Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
·Excellent communication, relationship-building and project management skills.
·The ambition to play a key role in establishing and growing a new office.
