Associate Teacher (Apprentice Route)- Maple Court Academy part of Alpha Academies Trust

OverviewMaple Court Academy, part of Alpha Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Associate Teacher (Apprenticeship Route) to join our strong team of professionals. This is a permanent position with a pathway to gain Qualified Teacher Status. Salary: £19,653 - £21,319.

Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning in collaboration with colleagues and under the line management of the Lead for Inclusion/SENCO.

Work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and contribute to inclusive practice.

Be placed on the Staffordshire/Coventry University Specialist Teaching Assistant Routes/Apprenticeship Course, fully funded by Alpha Academies Trust.

Complete a Level 5 Apprenticeship and gain Qualified Teacher Status within two years.

Benefit from on-the-job teaching experience with 20% of working time allocated to your own learning and development.

There is a permanent position available upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Start date: As Soon As Possible.

Eligibility and Requirements

Experience or willingness to work with children with SEN.

Ability to converse at ease with staff and students in English; the role requires strong spoken English.
