Associate Director StructuresHalesowenSalary up to 70,000We are currently seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join a successful, well established Civil and Structural Design practice near Halesowen in the Midlands. The primary work stream is commercial and social houses, care homes, industrial developments and remediation. Our client has projects throughout the UK, but most work is in the Midlands.As a project leader, the role will require the candidate to be empathetic and supportive of staff, and they will be confident and engaging with valued clients. The candidate will also undertake technical design and reporting work themselves so they will be required to have good written and verbal communication skills. They will be highly knowledgeable in the design and detailing of all major structural materials and an awareness or knowledge of:TEKLA - TSD and Portal FrameSciaTeddsRevit StructureAutoCADThe successful candidate is likely to have at least ten years post graduate experience and will already be used to taking design responsibility for projects.
