Associate Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist - Perm/FTC

Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the Manchester area to help recruit an Associate Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adults on a substantive or FTC bases.

The Trust is one of the largest on the UK with over 5000 staff offering a range of physical and mental health needs. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and friendly department of Psychiatrists whose service include inpatient, community services, specialist services, and emergency services.

Brief Duties:

Assessment of new patients and clinical supervision of assessments carried out by other team membersFull participation in the multidisciplinary teamSenior medical responsibility for the care carried out by the Community Mental Health TeamReview and monitoring of the caseload to ensure appropriate care packages are put in place and discharges facilitated to maintain patient flowContribution to the continuous development of the Community Mental Health TeamDomiciliary visits to provide assessment and treatment servicesDomiciliary assessments in response to emergenciesResearch, in terms of personal projects and clinical audits as part of clinicalInvolvement in joint planning of future service developmentClose liaison with the wards to facilitate admission and discharge

Our Client is happy to issue Certificate of Sponsorships to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience is essential for this position.
