Associate / Senior Associate - IP, Data and Contracts Location: Edinburgh Job Type: Full-time Reed are currently working with a market leading Legal firm who are looking to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate to join their IP, Data and Contracts (IPDC) team in Edinburgh. This role offers a diverse and challenging workload in a supportive environment, ideal for a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude. Day-to-day of the role: Provide comprehensive IP, commercial contract, and data protection advice to our entrepreneurial client base. Handle e-commerce, data protection, IP advisory, and commercialisation matters. Draft and report on contracts across a variety of sectors. Work independently, managing direct client interactions with senior support available as needed. Collaborate as part of the IPDC team, taking responsibility for key tasks and contributing to team objectives. Required Skills and Qualifications: Ideally 4+ years PQE, ideally within IP, technology, data protection, or commercial contracts but all levels of PQE will be considered Excellent communication skills and a confident, positive attitude. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven capability in handling complex legal matters related to IP, data protection, and commercial contracts.
