Due to team expansion, we have a newly created vacancy for a Solicitor 10+ PQE with a background in Safety, Health and Environment work to join a well-established regulation team. The team handles high profile cases and investigations on behalf of individuals and organisations facing criminal investigations for corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter and breaches of regulatory law related to health and safety, fire safety, food safety and environmental law.Responsibilities

Manage a varied case load covering both contentious and non-contentious regulatory workAct as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experienceAssist with business development activities including marketing and training eventsAssume responsibility for quality control and benchmark complianceCandidate profile

You will have at approximately 10 PQE with experience gained within a regulatory and/or commercially focused environmentYou will be capable of advising on regulatory work including - HSE/Police investigations, witness interviews, interviews under caution, prosecutions, sentencing hearings and inquestsExperience of areas such as environmental breaches, trading standards, product safety, food safety and fire safety would also be of interestApplicants must have excellent legal drafting and technical skillsBenefits
