Associate Security Analyst

Role: Associate Security Analyst Salary/Rate: £600 - £700 per day inside IR35 Location: Hybrid London + on call Contract Duration: approx. 6-months We are currently looking for an Associate Security Analyst for our government client. The full-time Associate Security Analyst role is hybrid, based between 3 days per week on site in central London and the remainder of the week working remotely. Candidates must be based in the UK. There is no further flexibility with expected time on site, or the office location. Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance") The contract for this Associate Security Analyst position is until 31/3/27, with potential to extend, operating inside IR35. This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution. Essential Skills / Experience required: Strong professional experience investigating and responding to cyber incidents Experience using security tools (e.g., EDR, SIEM) to support the investigation and response to cyber incidents Experience with SIEM tools (experience of Splunk preferred but experience of Microsoft sentinel or an equivalent SIEM tool is acceptable) An understanding of the tools, techniques and procedures commonly used by threat actors Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Role / Responsibilities: Triage and investigate cyber security alerts and reports from users Use a variety of techniques to analyse systems, files, ..... full job details .....
