Associate Quantity Surveyor

A specialist London cost consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will work across a varied portfolio of technically complex projects, including a strong MEP-led workload.The Associate Quantity Surveyor''s RoleThe Associate Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for leading commissions, managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.While the consultancy delivers a significant amount of MEP-focused work, previous MEP or data centre experience is not essential. This role would suit an Associate Quantity Surveyor from a traditional building consultancy background who is keen to broaden their sector experience and gain exposure to more technically demanding projects.The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work across both pre- and post-contract stages, providing cost planning, procurement and commercial management advice while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project teams.The Associate Quantity SurveyorDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related disciplineStrong UK PQS / construction consultancy experienceMRICS qualified or equivalent professional experienceProven ability to lead projects and manage client relationshipsStrong pre- and post-contract cost management knowledgeGood understanding of JCT and other UK contract formsExperience within MEP or data centres would be beneficial but is not ..... full job details .....
