Associate Procurement Professional Desford Contract / 12 Months 37.5 Hours per week / 25.65 Onsite Are you an experienced procurement professional, or looking to build your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?We''re looking for an organised and detail-focused Associate Procurement Professional to join a busy purchasing team supporting a large-scale manufacturing operation in Desford.Working closely with suppliers, buyers, finance and internal stakeholders, you''ll play a key role in keeping purchasing activity running smoothly across production and supporting the wider supply chain.The Role: Raise and manage purchase orders for production requirements across a large portfolio of parts and suppliers. Review and validate supplier quotes from category buyers across the UK and North America. Take ownership of assigned commodities and purchasing activity from order placement through to invoice resolution. Investigate and resolve invoice and payment issues, working with suppliers and Accounts Payable to prevent delays to deliveries and production. Work closely with internal teams to resolve purchasing and supplier queries. Collect and analyse purchasing data to support projects, process improvements and business decisions. Present project findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
