Associate Planner

We are currently working with a growing consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Planner to join its expanding infrastructure planning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRTPI Planner with strong DCO / NSIP experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in some of the UK’s major infrastructure and energy projects.

• Lead infrastructure planning projects through the NSIP / DCO process
• Work across major energy and infrastructure schemes
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships
• Prepare planning statements, reports and supporting documentation
• Mentor and support junior colleagues
• Contribute to business development and team growth
• Work alongside specialists across environmental planning, sustainability, land and CPO

What are they looking for? Ideally, you’ll be:

• MRTPI qualified
• Experienced in infrastructure planning
• Confident working with Planning Act 2008 / DCO procedures
• Experienced in managing clients and stakeholders
• A strong communicator with excellent report-writing skills
• Commercially aware, proactive and collaborative
