Primary focus of this role

• Work with Partners to define the Civils’ division growth strategy
   
• Direct, manage and develop the Civil Engineering team and Technician support beyond a supporting service to structural projects.
• Responsible for overall financial and technical delivery of Civil Engineering within EWP
• Responsible for developing business and delivering growth of the Civils team
• Ensure maintenance of appropriate controls and quality checks, including regular 
• reporting
• Liaise with Architects, Clients and other professionals whilst carrying out duties 
• and at all times represent the Practice in a professional and courteous way
• Responsible for supporting high standards and general education within EWP 
• regarding Civils technical issues, including presenting occasional internal 
• seminars to the Practice on either projects, technical issues or updates

Key Responsibilities

• Underground drainage design for projects ranging from ‘one off’ domestic houses 
• with pumped basement drainage through to large residential and mixed use sites.
• Pre-planning application, drainage strategy and infrastructure advice.
• Storm & foul water attenuation design
• SUDS techniques and implementation
• Able to use Micro drainage
