A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, commercial, and residential sectors.

The Role

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will take a leading role in the delivery of geotechnical projects, from site investigation through to design and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and delivering ground investigation and geotechnical design projects
• Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
• Designing foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks
• Supervising site works and subcontractors
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development
• Liaising with clients and contributing to business development activities
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology
• Working towards or achieved Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
• Strong experience in ground investigation and geotechnical design
• Proficiency in relevant design software
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
