Associate Geotechnical Engineer

My client is an innovative, employee-owned consulting engineering business. They have a team of more than 900 highly skilled people, in 15 offices across the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Middle East where they design and deliver engineering solutions for clients in the Property, Transport, Ports and Marine, Water, Renewables and Defence sectors. They collaborate with leading contractors, developers, architects, planners, financiers and government agencies, to create projects that make a difference to people''s lives. The Role: The London office is looking for a Senior to Associate level Geotechnical Engineer to form a key part of a growing geotechnical team. You will work with the Geotechnics Lead to support and grow the team, working closely with the other office disciplines of structural, civil, infrastructure and bridge engineering as well as independent geotechnical consultancy. As such, the nature and type of work will be varied, ranging from the design of foundations and earth structures for temporary works through to the integrated design of deep basements and foundation solutions for tall buildings. Whilst the majority of the work is UK-based, they are an international practice and often work in other geographies. Knowledge and experience of geotechnical work in a more global context would be welcome.
