Associate Fund Accountant

Exciting opportunity for an Associate Fund Accountant to join the financial services industry in London. The role will focus on fund accounting for private equity and VC funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.

Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for assigned funds.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts and fund portfolios.
• Support the fund valuation process by calculating net asset values (NAVs).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address fund-related queries.
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
• Contribute to process improvements within the fund accounting function.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience in bookkeeping, double entry and / or fund accounting (candidates looking to move from accountancy practice into industry are encouraged to apply)
• Desire to study for the ACCA or working towards their Qualification
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes
• Interest in building their career within Fund Accounting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
