Associate- Flood Risk
My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy who specialise in flood risk management, drainage infrastructure, air quality and geotechnical engineering, is searching for an Associate to join their flood risk team in London. Candidates are required to have an academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering and have achieved or be close to achieving Chartered Status. You will also be required to have vast experience specialising in flood risk management and drainage designs for residential and commercial development projects. Management experience is also required in order to manage and mentor team members. As a Flood Risk Associate, you will be required to manage projects, liaise with clients to discuss project development and mentor and support the flood risk team when needed to complete technical work. You will be required to review, amend, check and complete the following; -Flood risk assessments-Surface water and catchment management plans-Surface water drainage strategies- Foul sewerage and trade effluent drainage strategies to assess the viability of constructing new sewers or private treatment systems.-Detailed storm and foul water drainage network design and modelling. -Hydrological Assessments.-Hydraulic Modelling. -Liaise with Local Authorities and Government Bodies to obtain Environmental Permits and Drainage Consents. -Team management and mentoring of staff when needed. -Client meetings to discuss the ..... full job details .....
