Associate Fire Engineer
Role Summary We are looking for a Chartered Associate Fire Engineer to join F.I.R.E. Consultancy during a period of continued growth. This is a senior technical and leadership role suited to an experienced fire engineering professional who can lead complex project work, manage and mentor engineers, support client relationships and contribute to business development. You will take responsibility for producing fire safety strategies, fire risk assessments and bespoke fire engineering solutions, including first-principles assessments, performance-based designs, fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis and cost benefit analysis where appropriate. The role will involve site visits, technical delivery, mentoring, contribution to training programmes, fee proposals, work conversion, client retention and support with the recruitment and development of new talent. You will need Chartered Engineer status, a BSc, MSc or PhD in an engineering or science subject, and at least 10 years'' relevant experience in fire engineering or a closely related technical field.
