A growing, multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to join their Birmingham team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Fire Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality fire safety advice across a varied portfolio spanning both public and private sector clients.The Associate Fire Engineer''s RoleThe Associate Fire Engineer will support and lead the delivery of a wide range of fire consultancy services, including fire engineering, fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys, remediation projects, and building safety compliance.You will assist in managing a team of consultants, providing technical oversight and ensuring quality assurance across all project outputs. The Associate Fire Engineer will regularly attend site visits, deliver client-facing advice, and liaise with regulatory bodies where required.Additionally, the Associate Fire Engineer will contribute to business development activities, including bid submissions, while supporting the ongoing growth and performance of the fire consultancy service.The Associate Fire EngineerThe successful Associate Fire Engineer will demonstrate:A Level 5 qualification (or higher) in a fire-related disciplineDegree in engineering or similar (desirable), with IEng or CEng status preferredStrong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidanceProven experience delivering technical fire consultancy servicesMembership of a recognised professional body (e.g. IFE, ..... full job details .....
