Associate Electrical Engineer

A-well-established,-human-focused-engineering-consultancy-is-seeking-a-Principal-or-Associate-Electrical-Engineer-to-join-their-multidisciplinary-team-in-Reading.-This-senior,-client-facing-role-involves-delivering-complex-projects-across-commercial,-residential,-and-mission-critical-sectors-while-mentoring-junior-engineers-and-supporting-the-wider-team.

The-Role

-The-successful-candidate-will:

• Lead-and-deliver-electrical-design-services-for-multi-disciplinary-projects-of-varying-size-and-complexity
• Develop-initial-strategic-concepts,-ensuring-solutions-meet-briefs-and-regulatory-standards
• Work-closely-with-clients,-contractors,-and-architects-to-translate-briefs-into-deliverable-designs
• Monitor-project-resources,-fees,-and-outputs-alongside-team-leadership
• Support-and-mentor-apprentices,-graduates,-and-junior-engineers
• Contribute-to-repeat-and-new-business-opportunities,-ensuring-high-quality,-profitable-delivery

Candidate-Profile

• Proven-experience-as-an-Electrical-Engineer-or-in-a-related-consultant-role,-delivering-complex-projects
• Proficient-in-technical-delivery-processes-and-software-such-as-BIM,-Revit,-Electrical-OM,-Dialux,-and-Relux
• Strong-client-facing-experience-with-the-ability-to-communicate-and-collaborate-effectively
• Collaborative,-self-aware,-and-open-minded
• Experience-in-supporting-the-development-of-others-within-a-team
