About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Associate Electrical Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic Building Services Engineering team. In this key role, you will deliver innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions across a range of projects, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and bespoke developments.

As an Associate, you will take ownership of the electrical engineering design from initial concept through to completion, leading a team and ensuring the quality and compliance of all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design across projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, and sustainability teams.
• Produce technical design deliverables, including power distribution, lighting, LV systems, fire alarms, data/communications, and EMC.
• Provide technical advice, optimise designs, and deliver value engineering solutions.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and client engagement.

What We''re Looking For

• Chartered or working towards Chartered status (e.g., CEng, IET, CIBSE membership).
• Extensive experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy or multi-disciplinary environment.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, standards, and sustainability targets.
• Proficiency in design tools and modelling software.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills.
