We are seeking an experienced Senior Leader to craft Agoda’s global pricing strategy and execute it, coordinating with Agoda’s senior management, marketing and product teams, while managing and expanding a team of pricing campaign managers and analysts.About Agoda

In a fast-changing online travel industry, offering the best price yields disproportionate gains. Travelers choose Agoda because they can find the best hotels at the best price. This role requires balancing short-term volume and margin optimization with longer-term strategic considerations, accounting for reactions from customers, hotels, competitors and regulators. You will craft Agoda’s global pricing strategy and execute it using a wide range of tactics and tools, from price display to machine learning algorithms, coordinating with senior management, marketing and product teams, and leading a team of pricing campaign managers and analysts.What you will be doing:Work with C-level executives and other internal stakeholders to craft a global pricing framework, considering Agoda’s strategic prioritiesCollaborate with the Product team to build tools to execute and monitor pricing actions and to improve price display across all channelsWork with the Market Development team to collect price benchmarking data and intelligence from local markets and respond to moves from competitors and hotel partnersDesign and deploy pricing actions, balancing short-term financial goals with longer-term strategic imperativesManage a multi-million dollar budget and provide visibility to internal stakeholdersInspire and coach a team of analysts and campaign managers and expand it by hiring talentWhat you need to be good at to succeed in this role:Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives – experience in leading strategy consulting projects is a plusExcellent analytical skills and a strong love of dataAdvanced proficiency in SQLExperience with data visualization toolsAbility to foster cooperation across teams and nationalitiesPeople management – track record of hiring and developing talentExperience in defining pricing strategies, PandL management and/or revenue managementEntrepreneurial spirit and a get-things-done attitudeExposure to IT and Product Development – basic coding skills are a plusEqual Opportunity Employer
