Associate Director International (Strategy and Commercial)
Main duties and responsibilitiesAssociate Director International (Strategy and Commercial) is a newly created senior leadership role and a key appointment within DMU''s evolving International Directorate. Reporting to the Director of International, the postholder will lead the new Strategy, Operations and Compliance Unit and provide strategic leadership across interconnected areas: Commercial Strategy and Financial Performance; Business Development Integration; Strategic Planning; External Engagement; and International Operations and Compliance.The Directorate The Global Partnerships Unit (GPU) was set up in October 2017 to engage with international partners in pursuit of opportunities for in-country delivery of academic awards or ''Transnational Education (TNE)'' as it is commonly referred to in the sector. GPU forms part of the International Directorate together with the International Office (IO) who have responsibility for international student recruitment. The Role The role will drive pricing optimisation, contract negotiations and financial performance management to ensure sustainable growth and value generation across DMU''s international activities.
