Associate Director Fire Engineering job in the North West, leading the development of a new fire engineering service within an established built environment consultancy. Suited to a senior fire engineer with strong technical and commercial capability, the role covers fire strategies, design and compliance across healthcare, education, logistics, residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a new Fire Engineering service

• Produce fire strategies, reports and technical design advice

• Build and develop the technical team

• Develop client relationships and support new work generation

• Collaborate with wider building safety consultancy teams

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects

• Relevant Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or related degree

• Chartered Engineer preferred; candidates nearing chartership considered

• Strong fire legislation, guidance and PAS 9980 knowledge

• Commercial, client development and technical leadership capability

Salary & Benefits

• -70,000 - -90,000 depending on experience
