Job DescriptionWe have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Director, Financial Reporting to join our Group Finance team. In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders, investors, lenders and rating agencies. You will play a critical role in the Finance team, distilling financial performance metrics into clear, succinct analysis to support decision making and will develop strong working relationships with senior leaders across the Group. You will also lead on reporting project activity, such as the integration of new acquisitions into the Group’s consolidation approach and work closely with the Group Analytics and Financial Systems teams to develop data, analysis and visualisation tools to support evolving business needs. To succeed in the role, you will have broad experience across the areas of financial reporting, systems and control, and be competent in articulating analysis to senior internal and external stakeholders.
What You''ll Do
You''ll manage and oversee the Group’s monthly close and subsidiary consolidation process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial accuracy is maintained.
You''ll collaborate with Finance Directors and management teams to analyze trading performance, explain variances to budgets and forecasts, and respond to investor or lender queries with insightful analysis.
You''ll produce and deliver monthly and quarterly management reports for internal and external stakeholders, while also leading ad-hoc reporting and performance analysis.
You''ll drive improvements in financial reporting processes, system automation, and reporting visualizations, enhancing the quality and efficiency of insights shared in management meetings.
You''ll oversee the integration of newly acquired entities into the Group’s consolidation structure, maintaining consistency in the chart of accounts and enabling historical trend analysis.

Qualifications
You are a qualified accountant with a recognised body such as ACA or ACCA, with strong technical expertise in financial reporting across multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency, and complex group environments.
You have experience in Private Equity or leveraged businesses, with ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
You demonstrate strong analytical, presentational, and written communication skills, with high organisation and ability to meet tight deadlines.
You are proficient in management reporting, including developing PowerBI dashboards, and have a solid understanding of effective financial control environments.
You possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Sun Systems, Sharperlight, PowerBI, and Workday Adaptive, with insight into the investor services or broader financial services industry.
