  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers and project teams
  • Contributing to project budgets and monitoring financials, taking corrective action when needed
  • Driving business development, including networking, identifying opportunities and writing bids and fee proposals, with a focus on projects in delivery and the opportunities that come from them
  • Presenting externally on your industry-leading work and technical achievements or research
  • Working with the senior leadership team on strategic objectives, including new technologies and process improvements
  • Taking part in internal academy sessions and other CPD opportunities

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • CEng and Member of CIBSE, or equivalent

  • Excellent design experience in a commercial environment
  • A proven track record in design and project delivery across different types of M&E systems, building types and procurement routes
  • The ability to present to and advise clients on all engineering issues, including concept design, detailed design, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly when explaining system concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail, teamworking, interpersonal skills and time management of yourself and others
  • A growing industry network at project level, to widen your influence

Our values

We’re collaborative, curious, helpful, passionate and ingenious. We work positively with others, share knowledge, take on new responsibilities without being asked, take ownership of our roles and find ways to get results by adapting and innovating.
