The new Director will have an excellent understanding of all eb7 group service lines and be able to identify and execute cross-selling, networking, and business development opportunities across the group.You will define and lead business development activities to win new clients and increase market awareness and share for the eb7 brand.Main Responsibilities:Lead main client contacts and projects on major initiatives.Manage delivery of projects through liaison with clients, design teams, external consultants, and in-house resources.Allocate appropriate resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.Ensure high-quality delivery and commercial management to meet client expectations.Provide high-quality oral and written advice based on client scope and needs.Undertake or direct site research, photos, VOA, land registry, and make informed decisions on due diligence based on project risk profiles.Review legal documents and deeds, providing caveated opinions and consulting legal advisors when appropriate.Delegate tasks internally and liaise with colleagues to ensure resource allocation aligns with project timelines and budgets.Advise on mitigation strategies considering planning and rights of light risks (e.g., neighbor age, use, deeds, planning risks, stakeholder views).Demonstrate exemplary client care through effective communication and delivery, and hold line management, leadership responsibilities, and accountability within the team and wider company.Experience and Key Skills:Ideally, you will have at least 5 years of property/surveying experience in a similar role, with:Excellent understanding of property development and market.Strong knowledge of UK planning system.Solid understanding of UK legal system.Expertise in daylight/sunlight guidance, policy, and best practices.Expertise in rights of light law, precedent, and best practices.A degree in Building, Property, Legal, or related subjects, or ongoing property-related courses and CPD, are desirable.Personal Attributes:Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and ambitious.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.Good understanding of UK corporate governance, accounting, HR, and regulatory frameworks.What will we offer you?eb7 offers a high-standard, rewarding environment with opportunities for progression, continuous learning, and development.
