Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Dams and Reservoirs, playing a vital role in dams and reservoir engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering across challenging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Energy and Cities and Development. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions through the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you are passionate about this industry, we would love to talk with you.We currently have opportunities in our Peterborough office.Your Purpose
Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high-quality levels.
Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Set quality assurance standards in design.
Grow, develop and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capability within the practice.
What You Can Bring
Chartered Civil Engineer.
Currently or working towards being a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
In-depth knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance and working practices including the Reservoirs Act.
