Supporting food manufacturers and retailers with product innovation including: rheology, new product development, value optimisation, instructional development, pilot plant, quality and food safety manufacturing, thermal processing, new technologies, and regulatory affairs.

Consulting Technology

You will work with our brilliant and UK leading technical experts across Product Innovation, Process Innovation, Training, Sensory and Consumer Science, Global Food Safety and Regulatory to ensure an excellent consulting service to our clients that adds value to the food and drink supply chain.

You''ll sit as part of our leadership team to work closely with all business units to deliver a great client experience and retain clients by growing our relationships and supporting their aims. Delivering a service that is sustainably profitable for Campden BRI overall.

Collaborate with analysis and testing to build and evolve a cohesive client proposition that supports the needs of the food and drink supply chain.

Lead change and be an advocate across the business to improve client service, operational delivery, and process efficiency.

Work with sales and other scientists across the business, to build and maintain an effective pipeline of profitable work for Consulting. Actively seek opportunities for cross-sell into other business units to further support clients and build long lasting solutions to issues and opportunities.

Requirements

Experience and passion for client centricityTechnical and consulting experience within the food and drink supply chainDegree in relevant science or technology-based subject (Chemical Engineering, Food Science/Technology or similar)Direct leadership experience within a food and drink companySuccessfully owned a PandLStrong commercial acumen and a strong track record of delivering within a consultancy environmentDeep understanding of client issues across the food and drink supply chain in product safety, quality, assurance, innovation / reformulation, and process improvementSpecialism in at least one area of product safety/quality, innovation/reformulation, regulatory or thermal / non-thermal processingEngaging people leader with the ability to align and engage teams across the businessDeep financial understanding, particularly investment-based business casesWider business leadership, particularly leadership team experienceStrong relationship building skills both externally and internallyAbility to see the bigger picture and create tactical plans to deliver business strategy and change
