About the OpportunityOne of the most interesting roles in the region, going beyond delivery, this role combines surveying, leadership and fire safety. It is a chance to take ownership of a specialism and shape the team around you.A leading multidisciplinary consultancy are looking for an Associate Director-level Fire Specialist to lead their fire and building safety consultancy work across the South West and Wales. The role gives someone the platform to build a regional presence, develop key client relationships and help establish a recognised Centre of Excellence in this space.You would be working within an established Building Surveying practice, but with a clear brief to grow the fire safety consultancy side of the business. The client base is strong, with work across healthcare, education, residential, defence, commercial, infrastructure and public sector portfolios.There is a real balance of technical authority, commercial input and long-term ownership. You would still be close to complex fire safety work, but with the senior backing, investment and wider national network needed to build something properly.Responsibilities of the Role This is a senior role with a fantastic blend of technical delivery, client development, team building and commercial ownership.
