As the London team continues to expand, they''re looking for an Associate Director - Building Surveying to help drive that next stage of growth.
This isn''t simply a role focused on managing projects. You''ll have the opportunity to develop client relationships, win new work, influence strategy and help build the next generation of the Building Surveying team - with a clear route towards Director.

The role
You''ll combine technical building surveying expertise with commercial and leadership responsibility, taking ownership of key client relationships and playing an active part in growing the service line.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business and expanding existing client relationships
- Preparing fee proposals and supporting revenue growth
- Leading a range of professional Building Surveying instructions
- Acting on Party Wall matters and Licence to Alter projects
- Producing specifications, tender and contract documentation
- Contract Administration
- Dilapidations and defect diagnosis
- Measured and building surveys across residential and commercial assets
- Supporting Expert Witness instructions, including inspections and CPR35-compliant reporting
- Overseeing project delivery and maintaining excellent client service
- Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level surveyors, including APC candidates
- Working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and shape the team''s growth
What we''re looking for
We''re looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with commercial instinct and the confidence to operate at a senior level.
You''ll ideally have:
- An RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
- MRICS qualification
- Significant consultancy experience
- A strong professional Building Surveying background
- Experience developing client relationships and/or winning new work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to lead, mentor and develop others
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; CAD/BIM experience would be advantageous
