We are looking to recruit an Associate to work within our highly regarded Contentious Construction and Engineering Team to boost the firm''s current direct/commercial construction practice. The candidate will play an active role in the growth and success of the team in collaboration with our wider practice nationally and internationally.Key Responsibilities

Based out of our London office, the successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to form part of a prestigious and highly ambitious national and international construction team, to be part of delivering this success at a local level.

The firm''s construction team acts for a full range of leading industry members on a wide range of contentious issues, including claims over time, money and defects. It provides project-based advice to help clients manage out difficult issues and to avoid disputes. If a dispute does then arise, the team has substantial experience in all methods of dispute resolution – both formal and informal. The successful candidate will also gain exposure to this area of the team''s work. The successful candidate would be working as part of a team based in London but will gain exposure to teams across the nation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

4-7+ years + PQE with experience in Construction and Engineering commercial litigation.Solid academic track record.Excellent relationship and client handling skills.Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues.Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team;Willingness to be involved in business development and strategy to drive forward profitable growth for the ..... full job details .....
