We are working with a well-established, independent construction and property consultancy with a growing presence in London, delivering a full range of professional and project-led services across the built environment. The business supports clients from acquisition through to delivery and ongoing asset management, with a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and client-focused solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their London team. This is a great opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio within a collaborative environment, offering exposure to both professional services and project delivery.

You will be working across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and leisure, supporting a varied client base on both refurbishment and new build schemes.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and technical due diligence
• Deliver pre-acquisition surveys and detailed reporting
• Provide dilapidations advice acting for both landlord and tenant
• Act as Contract Administrator / Employer’s Agent
• Manage refurbishment and construction projects from inception to completion
• Prepare specifications, tender documentation, and oversee works on site
• Undertake party wall matters and statutory compliance duties
• Support fund monitoring and risk management activities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

• MRICS qualified (essential)
• Experience within a building consultancy environment
