Associate Building Surveyor

A well-established independent consultancy with a strong national presence is looking for an Associate Building Surveyor to join their Birmingham office. With an institutional client base that includes some of the UK''s most recognised property investors, this is a role with real autonomy, direct client exposure and the scope to shape how the team grows across the Midlands. The firm operates from over a dozen offices across the UK and Ireland, with more than 200 staff spanning building surveying, project management, engineering and sustainability. Their commercial property work covers major investment portfolios, and the Birmingham team benefits from that national pipeline while offering the accessibility and influence you only get in a regional office. The Associate Building Surveyor Role You will lead on a broad commercial building surveying workload, taking ownership of client relationships and project delivery across sectors including investment, retail, office and industrial. The role blends technical delivery with genuine business development responsibility, and there is scope to develop a specialism if that suits your career direction. Day-to-day, you will manage your own instructions from commission through to completion, mentor junior team members, and contribute to growing the Birmingham office''s profile with existing and new clients.
