      <description>Location: York | Salary: &amp;pound;50000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum | Type: Permanent | My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy who specialise in town planning, flood risk management and drainage infrastructure, is searching for an Associate to manage their flood risk team in York.   Candidates are required to have an academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering and have achieved or be close to achieving Chartered Status.   You will also be required to have vast experience specialising in flood risk management and drainage designs for residential and commercial development projects.    Management experience is also required in order to manage and mentor team members.   As a Flood Risk Associate, you will be required to manage projects, liaise with clients to discuss project development and mentor and support the flood risk team to complete technical work.   You will be required to review, amend, check and complete the following;   -Flood risk assessments  -Surface water and catchment management plans  -Surface water drainage strategies  - Foul sewerage and trade effluent drainage strategies to assess the viability of constructing new sewers or private treatment systems.  -Detailed storm and foul water d...</description>
