Your RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate / Associate Director to join our Environmental Consents nationwide team. This role involves strategic leadership in energy projects, contributing to the UK’s Net Zero commitments, and requires a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead expansion in the water sector, providing thought leadership and securing new business
Offer environmental advice to clients and project teams
Collaborate with specialists and engineering teams to promote sustainable design
Manage large, complex projects in terms of technical quality, safety, and commercial performance
Build and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities for support and marketing
Develop proposals, bids, and business opportunities
Innovate through techniques like Digital EIA and Technical Excellence
Drive team performance, culture, and career development
Support an inclusive, safe, and high-performing work environment
Candidate Requirements
Degree in environmental or planning field or equivalent experience
Experience in EIA for major water schemes
Knowledge of consenting processes and environmental issues
Line management experience and team development skills
Proven business growth and client management capabilities
Excellent communication skills
