Assistant Warehouse ManagerSalary: £32,000 £37,000 DOEMy client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their well-established and growing business.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or Assistant Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career.Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, supporting the team, coordinating workloads and ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.This is a hands-on role, so my client is looking for someone who is confident leading a team while also being happy to get involved with the day-to-day warehouse operation.The Role Support the Warehouse Manager with the daily running of the warehouseLead, motivate and support the warehouse teamPlan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlinesOversee the accurate receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of stockMaintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepanciesEnsure high standards of housekeeping, organisation and health and safetyWork closely with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operationsSupport quality and compliance proceduresMaintain accurate stock records and product traceabilityAssist with internal and external auditsIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencyProvide cover for the Warehouse Manager when requiredLead by example and maintain a ..... full job details .....
