Assistant Underwriter

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.The Role As an Underwriting Assistant, you will work closely with the underwriting team, providing support across a variety of activities, including: Assisting with new business and renewal enquiries Supporting the team with mid-policy changes and adjustments Providing general administrative and office support Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure enquiries and tasks are dealt with efficientlyWe are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and enjoys working as part of a busy and dynamic team. You will ideally have: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Good computer skills, including confident keyboard use Previous administration experience A positive and proactive approach to work Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamPrevious insurance experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
