The business is known for its commitment to animal welfare, operational excellence, and long term investment in both people and infrastructure.What You Will Be DoingAs a Trainee Assistant/Assistant Poultry Unit Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a specialist Turkey unit. Working closely with the Unit Manager, you will help oversee site operations, livestock management, and team activities while ensuring high standards are maintained across welfare, biosecurity, and health and safety.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the management of daily livestock operations and site performanceEnsure egg production, fertility, and stock quality meet company standardsEnsuring compliance with health and safety and biosecurity proceduresAssisting with audits and quality assurance systemsSupervising and participating in hands-on farm duties such as animal handling, egg collection and grading, bedding, cleaning, and equipment checksMaintaining accurate records and supporting operational reportingWhat You NeedTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Ability to handle turkeys safely in line ..... full job details .....
