Assistant Treasury Accountant

Assistant Treasury Accountant – Skelmersdale - £35,000 + Benefits – Hybrid

Our client is a large international business and we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious treasury professional to join a talented treasury team.

The role will give someone a fantastic opportunity to be mentored in post by an experienced manager and you will get involved in delivering  accurate and timely treasury accounting, reporting and administrative accounting.

The role :

• Monitor and reconcile intragroup debt positions
• Review and sign off treasury exposure reports
• Support month end, quarter end and year end treasury accounting
• Process group consolidation system entries
• Assist with monthly interest analysis
• Account for dividend transactions
• Maintain treasury systems and banking platforms
• Calculate and process banking fees

The person :

• Part qualified ideally
• Good accounting knowledge of month end activities
• Strong Excel skills
