Looking for your next step in transport leadership?  We’re partnering with a leading 3PL business to appoint an Assistant Transport Manager to support a fast-paced, high-volume operation within a leading 3PL business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead from the front, manage day-to-day performance, and work closely with both drivers, customers and other key stakeholders to deliver outstanding service.

What you’ll do:

• Support the daily running of a busy, time-critical transport operation
• Drive performance against KPIs, service, and cost targets
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drivers
• Ensure full compliance with transport and safety regulations
• Adapt plans quickly in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in transport/logistics (ideally 3PL or customer-facing environment)
• Confidence managing people and dealing directly with customers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
• Ideally - CPC qualified (or willing to work towards it)

Note: This is a days-based role, but flexibility is essential to support a 24/5 operation.
