Specific duties and responsibilities include: To plan, provide advice and make decisions on the development of design solutions for bus infrastructure schemes on the highway. For example, assessing locations for new bus infrastructure such as bus shelters, stops and bus priority schemes. Auditing of all bus stop infrastructure and ensuring this meets guidelines as specified by Department for Transport policy guidance. Co-ordinating requests for new bus infrastructure and maintenance of existing infrastructure.
