Location: Manchester/Newcastle or Birmingham - with agile working opportunityHours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We''re looking for an Assistant Engineer to join our Technology Design team, supporting the delivery of highways technology solutions across a range of infrastructure projects. You''ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop design outputs, build your technical capability, and gain exposure to systems such as ITS, communications and digital infrastructure. Are you Degree-qualified (or working towards) in Electrical, Electronic, Communications or Technology Engineering? An early-career engineer with some practical experience (placement, internship or similar)? Interested in highways technology, ITS or digital infrastructure? Do you Have awareness of ITS systems and/or communications networks? Understand design standards (e.g. DMRB) or use CAD/design tools? Have exposure to infrastructure or highways environments?
