Assistant Technical Manager - Antrim - Salary is negotiable We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Technical Manager to join a fast-paced and growing food manufacturing business based in Ballymena This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with strong technical and compliance experience, particularly within a BRC-accredited environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Technical Manager in maintaining food safety, quality, and legality standards. Ensure compliance with BRC Global Standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Assist with audits, inspections, and customer visits. Manage HACCP documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and implement corrective actions. Work closely with production and operations teams to maintain high technical standards. Support training and development of staff on quality and food safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience in a Technical or Quality role within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with BRC standards. Understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Food-related qualification desirable but not essential.
