Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs, including those experiencing anxiety, trauma, or behavioural challenges
• Help pupils develop emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions
• Use structured routines, visual aids, and therapeutic strategies to promote engagement
• Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external specialists to implement tailored support plans
• Foster a calm and trusting classroom environment that encourages growth and confidence

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (in education or care settings)
• Empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive learning
• Skilled in teamwork, communication, and behaviour management techniques
• Familiar with emotion coaching, restorative practices, and trauma-informed approaches
• Willing to undertake ongoing training in safeguarding and mental health
