Position: Assistant Support Worker
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: -25,506 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

We are recruiting a full-time Assistant Support Worker to join our team at The Elms, a supported living service for people aged 55+ with physical health needs, mental health conditions and learning disabilities.

At The Elms, we work together to create a warm, inclusive environment where people feel respected, supported and empowered to live as independently as possible.

The Role

You will provide person-centred support that makes a real difference, including:

• Supporting with medication and personal care in a dignified, compassionate way
• Encouraging daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
• Supporting residents to achieve personal goals and maintain independence
• Organising local activities and community outings
• Following individual support plans and risk assessments
• Building positive, trusting relationships through collaborative working

Shifts

This role operates on a 4-week rolling rota, including:

• 8am-4pm
• 2pm-10pm
• 3pm-3pm (including a sleep-in)
