Assistant Supervisor- Distribution

A successful manufacturing business is looking for an Assistant Supervisor to join its distribution team. This Assistant Supervisor role offers a hands-on opportunity to support daily operations, help lead a team, and ensure products are prepared accurately for customer deliveries and collections. Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm or 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Based in High Wycombe, this position offers 31,000 per annum Duties Support the day to day running of the distribution team Oversee the preparation of goods for delivery and collection Carry out quality checks to ensure products are free from damage and defects Assist with loading vehicles safely and accurately Help investigate missing items and resolve loading issues Ensure all orders are complete and correctly documented Support team training and assist with maintaining high standards Communicate with office teams regarding operational issues Monitor health and safety procedures within the warehouse Take responsibility for the team when required Experience Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position within a warehouse or distribution environment Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Ability to manage staff and arrange cover when required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliable, flexible and able to remain calm under pressure Hands on approach with a proactive attitude Experience of vehicle loading, ..... full job details .....
