Assistant Store Manager – ManchesterWe are looking for an engaging, inspirational Assistant Store Manager to help lead the diverse team at our Manchester store. The role involves partnering with the Store Manager to provide leadership and direction, guiding the team to deliver an outstanding service offer that supports the growth of Dr. Martens, and fostering a great working environment with well-being at the heart of decision making.The Opportunity

As Assistant Store Manager you will work hand in hand with the Store Manager to create a strong partnership, drive customer experience, and support commercial objectives in line with our business priorities.Responsibilities

Take responsibility for day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising, and administration).Assume complete responsibility for the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager.Take responsibility for health and safety and security issues within the store.Achieve set KPI’s (e.g., Sales, CR, UPT) in line with the store PandL budget.Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge through a coaching approach to ensure a seamless, consistent customer experience.Ensure stock management procedures are followed, including stock take, processing deliveries, and loss prevention actions.Collaborate with the Store Manager, Regional Manager, and Head Office to take commercial decisions for the store aligned with business objectives.Qualities and Requirements

Passion for our product.Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor, ideally within a fashion/lifestyle brand, for a few years.Confidence in coaching, developing, and mentoring teams.Sales-oriented with the ability to drive others to achieve store goals.Resilience with a solution-driven mindset.Fluency in English at business level; additional languages are a benefit.Good IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office and POS systems.What’s in it for you?
