Assistant Store Manager

to join one of our flagship stores based on Oxford Street, London. There is an established team in place, and you will work directly with them to help create the best customer shopping experience. An Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the store’s day-to-day responsibilities. You will undertake managerial tasks such as overseeing employees, modelling effective leadership, and offering excellent customer service. A primary responsibility is to carry out the manager’s role in the manager’s absence. You will use this role to develop the Store Manager’s duties and be in training to advance to this position.We invest in training and development. This role includes regular 1-2-1s, training, and support, with the tools needed to thrive and feel empowered on your journey with us. We have a track record of progression and development within our teams.About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fashion retail and aligned with our company values. The ideal Assistant Store Manager will bring:Proven experience in fashion retail, ideally in a managerial role within a fast-paced environmentA strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesExceptional organisational skills and a customer-first mindsetA deep understanding of the fashion industry and current market trendsIdeal for candidates currently working as a Deputy Store Manager, Retail Operations Supervisor, Store Management Associate, Assistant Retail Manager, or Sales Floor Manager.Why Footasylum?
