Assistant Site Manager

Willmott Dixon is currently looking to recruit a permanent Site Supervisor to join a major healthcare scheme in Plymouth on a 2-year fixed term contract.Our aim is for you to be a part of our team to deliver projects regional to your home. We work across multiple sectors, including education, commercial, leisure, blue-light, healthcare, defence, and residential with project values ranging between 100 - 200 million pounds. Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, the Site Supervisor will support the delivery of the projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality whilst exceeding customers'' expectationsResponsibilitiesEnsure delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirementsUnderstand the client priorities and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relationsMonitor the works and supply chain to ensure provision of the right working environment to avoid disruption between tradesUndertake the works in the most economic manner to eliminate waste and avoid non recoverable costs and preliminaries lossesMaintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental management.Essential CriteriaExperience of a variety of construction operationsReading and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specificationsUnderstanding and appropriately sharing build programmesExperience of supervising or managing a team of operatives on a construction siteMinimum relevant level 4 ..... full job details .....
