Assistant Site Manager
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established residential developer on a 120-unit traditional build housing development.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-performing site team, supporting the Senior Site Manager in the successful delivery of a flagship residential scheme. You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring work is completed safely, on programme and to the exceptional quality standards the business is known for.

The Role
Working closely with the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of the construction programme.
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.
- Monitoring quality throughout the build process and maintaining the highest construction standards.
- Carrying out regular inspections and ensuring any defects are identified and rectified promptly.
- Promoting and maintaining excellent health and safety standards across the site.
- Assisting with programme management to ensure build targets are achieved.
- Supporting customer-focused activities, including plot inspections and ensuring homes are completed to an exceptional finish.
- Building positive working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.
- Maintaining accurate site records and assisting with reporting to senior management.
- Leading by example and contributing to a positive, collaborative site culture.
About You
We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager who has:
- Previous experience working on traditional build residential developments.
- Experience working for a recognised UK residential developer.
- A stable career history demonstrating commitment, reliability and longevity with previous employers.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a keen eye for quality.
- The confidence to supervise subcontractors and maintain high site standards.
- A genuine passion for delivering quality homes and an excellent customer experience.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with the ambition to continue developing their career.
