An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a leading national residential developer on a flagship multi-phase housing development in East Dorset.

Working alongside an experienced, award-winning construction team, you''ll gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of site management, including programme delivery, quality control, health & safety, subcontractor management and customer satisfaction. This position offers a genuine route to Site Manager level, with structured training, mentoring and clear progression opportunities.

The Role

Reporting into the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure high standards of quality, health & safety, programme delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the management of subcontractors and site activities.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Supporting site inspections and quality control procedures.
• Monitoring progress and helping to coordinate trades on site.
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
• Assisting with customer journey and defect management processes.

About You

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and NHBC standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious, career-driven and eager to progress into a Site Manager position.
• Experience working on volume housing or multi-unit residential developments is desirable.
• Experience working within an award-winning team or high-performing residential environment would be advantageous.
